Great to read but not to teach
By Sarah Langford
Robertson's account of his exploits as a crusading attorney are thrilling to read. Unfortunately I was introduced to this memoir as a core text in the NSW HSC. I have taught as part of the Conflicting Perspectives elective several times, which has ground the enjoyment out of it. Read it and enjoy but, if you can, avoid overanalysing.

Truly enjoyable, written with wit and insight
By Siobhan
A fascinating insight into the British legal system. The dictionary function was often needed but that did not detract from the vignettes. A very good book for any aspiring lawyer, or as a reminder of the obligations for those in the professional already.

By Stuart MacLeod
A very interesting exposure of human rights issues most of us would be blissfully unaware of. Well written and easy to read. Highly recommended to those of us interested in learning things about the human condition.
